Inverted front forks, extended trailing arm rear end, and upgraded shocks, upgraded, exhaust, electric start, heavy duty chain / sprockets, Mikuni-style adjustable carb and a tuned exhaust.
The Thunder 250 has an improved power-to-weight ratio with an extended trailing arm makes this bike perform in the dirt better than any of the previous Apollo dirt bikes. With a quick-shifting 5-speed manual tranny, experienced riders will be able to squeeze out the power they need to set their best lap times yet! Adjustable inverted front forks with 200mm of travel over a big 21 inch front tire give the Thunder motorcycle over 13 inches of ground clearance! Startups are quick and easy no matter the altitude or the weather with a reliable electric starter with kick start backup and CDI ignition. Knobby offroad tires provide fantastic grip on any terrain paired with the powerful stopping force of front and rear hydraulic disc brakes.
